There are a couple of WTF moments here, and they’re all with the character dialog. Is this the great James Robinson? If so, color me unimpressed. I never read his Starman or JSA. In fact I only have one chapter of the One Year Later arc “Face the Face”. This is my first exposure to him, and I just can’t believe it. But I am a sucker for the artwork and the extras at the end. It kind of reminds me of Roy Thomas and his text pages from his Earth-2 stories in the 80’s. I may stick around at least one more issue, and then if there’s no improvement, I’m gone. These things are just too expensive today to waste time with lousy stories…
