The retro style art puts me off, I hate dots, and it’s inconsistent. A few panels look really good, but not enough. It looks like a colourised rough draft.
The writing is terrible, and the story unbelievably stupid. Miss secretary abducted by alien, lesbian pirates. I won’t spoil why, but the reason is stupid. The comedic elements in this issue are so poorly executed, you can’t even groan. You might even cry knowing you spent money on this. I can’t believe I bought the entire run of this crap.
For being a finalist in Platinum Studio’s 2006 Comic Challenge, I expected more.
